After a long stretch of complete silence in the blogosphere, I feel somewhat ready to reappear. On more than one occasion I have questioned the necessity of writing words that most likely will just float around with all the other words from all the other bloggers and my conclusion is that it indeed is necessary. Even if nobody would ever read about impressions that I have received or my opinions on whatever is the most current subject requiring my attention, I still get to close chapters somehow, finish thought processes and move on, so I will keep blogging. I will not strive for greatness, I will not demand perfection on every blog and I will not tell myself to blog if I don’t have anything to say – let that be my late new year’s resolution if this statement needs to have an official title. Fragments, be they full thoughts or new ideas still in need of growth, will keep popping into my head so I will keep steering them to this place. Happy New Year 2009!
